"There’s something wonderfully out of step about this kind of music in 2026. Dany Laj writes about the weird conundrum that is modern life, what it does to communities, our culture and the spaces we inhabit, yet the music itself is blissfully uninterested in being hip. You might expect this sort of rock-‘n’-roll to slowly go extinct in a world being taken over by robots, but somehow the opposite seems to be happening."
